AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 207A,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,BY
REPEALING THE EXISTING RATES FOR GOLF AND AMENITIES AT SUGAR
CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND ENACTING NEW RATES AS SPECIFIED
BELOW:

WHEREAS,the City of Waukee seeks to change the rates for golf and amenities at Sugar
Creek Municipal Golf Course.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1:Chapter 207 A,Waukee Municipal Code,Section 207 A.ll should be and the
same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as follows:
§207 A.l1 Golf and Amenity Prices
The following rates and prices shall be charged for Golf and Amenities at Sugar
Creek Golf Course:
A)Regular Rates-Golf:
Monday -Thursday 9 Holes:$14.50
Friday -Saturday 9 Holes:$14.50
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$22.00
18 Holes:$22.00
B)Senior Rates:
Monday -Thursday 9 Holes:$9.00
Friday -Sunday 9 Holes:$14.50
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$16.50
18 Holes:$22.00
C)Junior Rates:
Monday -Thursday 9 Holes:$9.00
Friday -Sunday 9 Holes:$14.50
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$16.50
18 Holes:$22.00
D)Twilight Rate:
7 days a week after 6:30 p.m.Maximum of9 holes:$7.50
Rates include applicable sales tax
E)Cart Rental Prices:
9 Holes:$7.00 18 Holes:$10.00

G)Range Balls:

H)Season Passes-Golf:Valid March 1st -October 31 st
Single:Monday -Thursday (Seniors Only):$385.00
Single:Monday -Sunday (Non-Seniors):$505.00
Single:Monday -Sunday (Juniors):$275.00
Couple/Corporate:2 from same family or company:$715.00
Family:3 or more from same family:$878.00
Rates include applicable sales tax
I)Golf Cart Season Pass:
Single:$290.00
Couple:$445.00
Each person over Couple Rate:add $210
J)Discounts-Early Bird Special -Season passes purchased anytime before
January 31s"2008 receive 10%off.Any season passes purchased in
February and March of2008 will receive 5%off.
K)Clubhouse Rental and Use -The clubhouse may be reserved for the
nonresidential use of groups of persons or organizations.The reservation
and use of the clubhouse shall be allowed only after the execution ofthe
rental agreement and payment of rental deposit,as established by the City
Council.The rental fees shall be those approved by the City Council of
the City of Waukee.Use of the clubhouse may only occur between the
hours of 8:00 A.M.and 11 :00 P.M.,subject to availability and at the sole
discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department.No beverages of any
kind are permitted at the facility unless purchased from the clubhouse.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of
the ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.

Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 5th day of November,2007,and approved this 5th day of November,
2007.
