HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-11-20-Ordinance 2594_Golf Course Clubhouse RentalORDINANCE NO.2594 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 207A,PROVIDING FOR THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF WAUKEE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD RELATIVE TO THE OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF SUGAR CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE,BY AMENDING SECTION 207All,GOLF COURSE PRICES,BY ADDING AS SUBSECTION H REGULATING THE RENTAL OF THE GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee: Section l:Chapter 207 A,Waukee Municipal Code,Providing for the Powers and Duties of Waukee Park and Recreation Board Relative to the Operation and Management of Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course,is hereby amended by inserting Section 207 A 11 (H)as follows: H)Clubhouse Rental and Use -The clubhouse may be reserved for the nonresidential use of groups of persons or organizations.The reservation and use of the clubhouse shall be allowed only after the execution of a rental agreement,which shall be in a format as approved by the City Council.The associated rental fee schedule, including form of deposit to be refunded at the sole discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department,shall be approved by the City Council as a part of the rental agreement.Use of the clubhouse may only occur between the hours of 8:00 A.M.and 11 :00 P.M.,subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department.No beverages of any kind are permitted to be brought into the facility;all beverages must be purchased from the clubhouse. Section 2 Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
