HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-02-28-Ordinance 2504_Rezoning, Waukee 1st Addition and Ferree's Addition LotsORDINANCE NO.2504 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,WAUKEE MUNlCIP AL CODE,ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY RE-ZONING AND CHANGING CERTAIN PROPERTY THEREIN FROM C-l (COMMUNITY AND HIGHWAY SERVICE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT)TO R-2 (ONE AND TWO F AMIL Y RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT)AND AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO SHOW RE-ZONING. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council ofthe City of Waukee: Section 1.Section 301.4 of Chapter 301,Waukee Municipal Code,Zoning Ordinance of the City,adopting the Official Zoning Map,is hereby amended by changing the following described real estate from C-l (Community and Highway Service Commercial District)to R-2 (One and Two Family Residential District),and that the Official Zoning Map be made to reflect such amendment: WAUKEE 1sT ADDITION,LOTS 5 AND 6,BLOCK 7;LOT 6,BLOCK 2;LOT 5 AND W25'LOT 4,BLOCK 2 AND FERREE'S ADDITION,LOT 1 AND E25'N50'LOT 7,BLOCK 2;LOT 2,BLOCK 2 AND E25'S50'OF NlOO'LOT 7;LOTS 3 AND 4 AND E25'SlOO'OF N200'OF LOT 7,BLOCK 2;LOTS 5 AND 6,BLOCK 2 Also known as 225 6th St.,555 Laurel St.,552 Laurel St.,100 6th St.,110 6th St.,120 6th St., and 220 6th St.. Section 2.Repealer,All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity ofthe ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
