AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 222.6(A)TO REMOVE LANGUAGE
CONCERNING THE WAIVER OF BUILDING PERMIT FEES FROM THE
ORDINANCE
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to remove language from the ordinance
concerning the waiver of building permit fees.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee section
222.6(A)should be and the same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as follows:
A.Add the following to Section R1 08.2 Schedule of Permit Fees:
TOTAL VALUATION FEE
$1.00 to $500 $15.00
$501 to $2,000 $15 for the first $500 plus $2 for each
additional $100 or fraction thereof,to and
including $2,000
$2,001 to $25,000 $45 for the first $2,000 plus $8 fOTeach
additional $1,000 or fraction thereof,to and
including $25,000
$25,001 to $50,000 $229.00 for the first $25,000 plus $7.00 for
each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof,
to and including $50,000
$50,001 TO $100,000 $404 fOTthe first $50,000 plus $5 fOTeach
additional $1,000 or fraction thereof,to and
including $100,000
$100,001 TO $1,000,000 $654 for the first $100,000 plus $3 for each
additional $1,000 or portion thereof,to and
including $1,000,000
$1,000,001 and up $3,354 fOTthe first $1,000,000 plus $2.50
for each additional $1,000 or fraction
thereof.
Other Inspections and Fees
1.Fences $20.00
2.Signs (0-100 sq.ft.)$15.00 base plus
$0.25 per sq.ft.
3.Signs (101 sq.ft.and up)$40.00 base plus
$0.15 per sq.ft.
4.Storage Tauks $25.00 each fOT

5.Temporary Structures (including tents,$25.00
canopies,membrane structures and similar
structures)
6.For use of outside consultants for plan Actual costs*

*Actual costs include administrative and overhead costs.
Effective Date
The provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30)days after publication.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 224W.6(c)TO REMOVE LANGUAGE
CONCERNING THE WAIVER OF WATER TOWER CONNECTION FEES.
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to remove a provision in the Water Tower
Connection Fee District Chapter of the Waukee Municipal Code concerning the imposition of
tower connection fees.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee section
224W.6(c)should be and the same is hereby repealed.
Effective Date
The provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30)days after publication.
Passed by the Council this 17th day of October 2005 and approved this 17th day of October 2005.
