AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 303.158(A)TO REMOVE
LANGUAGE CONCERNING THE WANER OF WASTE WATER
TREATMENT CAPITAL FEES FROM THE ORDINANCE
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to remove language from the ordinance
concerning the waiver of waste water treatment capital fees.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee
section 303.158(A)should be and the same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof
is as follows:
A.Wastewater Treatment Capital Fees:
1.Residential,Single Family development -the builder's fee shall be the fee
set out in subparagraph 4 hereof.
2.Residential,Non-Single Family development -the builder's fee shall be
the fee set out in subparagraph 4 hereof.
3.Non-Residential,commercial or other development -the fee shall be the
fee set out in subparagraph 4 hereof.

4.The fees will increase annually based on the following schedule to account
for interest incurred by the City for the Wastewater Treatment Facility
Improvements:(page 8)

5.A Commercial/Industrial Connection Fee Application Worksheet is
attached and made part of this Ordinance.
Effective Date
The provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30)days after publication.
Passed by the Council this 17th day of October 2005 and approved this 17th day of October
2005.
