AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 207A,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,BY
REPEALING THE EXISTING RATES FOR GOLF AND AMENITIES AT SUGAR
CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND ENACTING NEW RATES AS SPECIFIED
BELOW:
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has determined to change the rates for golf and
amenities at Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1:Chapter 207A,Waukee Municipal Code,Section 207All should be and the
same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as follows:
§207 All Golf and Amenity Prices
The following rates and prices shall be charged for Golf and Amenities at Sugar
Creek Golf Course:
A)Regular Rates-Golf
Monday -Thursday Nine Holes $12.00 18 Holes $19.50
Friday -Sunday Nine Holes $13.00 18 Holes $20.50
Cart Rental Nine Holes $7.00 18 Holes $10.00
B)Senior Rates-Golf (Age 55 and Over)
Monday -Thursday Nine Holes $7.50 18 Holes $15.00
Friday -Sunday Nine Holes $13.00 18 Holes $20.50
C)Junior Rates-Golf (Under 18 or a valid college ID)
Sunday -Saturday Nine Holes $7.50 18 Holes $15.00
Ages 6-10 years must be accompanied by an adult.11-15 years old must be
approved by a professional staff member.Must be 16 with a valid driver's license
to drive golf carts.
D)Twilight Rate-Golf (7 days a week after 6:30 PM)$7.50
E)2006 Season Passes (January 1,2006-December 31,2006)
As long as the course is open in the sole discretion of the Public Works
Director.
Single Monday-Friday (Senior Age 55 and Over)$395.00
Monday-Sunday $495.00
Couple $695.00
Family $845.00
Corporate (Two from same company)$695.00
Junior $195.00 (Under 18 or with valid college ill)
Golf Cart Single $300.00
Couple $450.00
Family $450.00 plus $200.00 per person over 2 persons
F)6 Month Season Pass (April 1 -September 30th)
Single Monday-Friday (Senior Age 55 and Over)$295.00

Couple $595.00
Family $745.00
Corporate (Two from same company)$595.00
Junior $195.00 (Under 18 or with valid college ill)

G)Discounts-Early Bird Special -Looking for that special holiday gift?
Purchase your season pass anytime before January 31"and receive 10%off.Any
passes purchased in February and March will receive 5%off.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of
the ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 7th day of November 2005,and approved this 7th day of November
2005.
