RESOLUTION 19-366
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
HR GREEN, INC. [WAUKEE ADA SIDEWALK DESIGN PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on February 20, 2018, the Waukee City Council approved an Agreement for
Professional Consulting Services with HR Green, Inc. for the creation of a pedestrian route
transition plan (the "Plan") as part of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of .
1990 (ADA) (Resolution #18-077); AND,
WHEREAS, on January 7, 2019, the Waukee City Council approved the City of Waukee
Pedestrian Access Route Transition Plan (Resolution #19-018); AND,
WHEREAS, as part of the transition plan, the City desires to retain the services of HR Green,
Inc., to design sidewalks and shared use paths within the public right-of-way as required by the
ADA; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the proposed Agreement for Professional
Consulting Services and finds it satisfactory;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services with HR Green, Inc. [Waukee ADA Sidewalk
Design Project] is hereby approved.
