AN ORDINANCE TO AJ\iIEND CHAPTER Sal,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY ADDING TO AND
DELETING FROM SECTION 501.18 "THROUGH STREETS AND STOP
INTERSECTIONS",CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS AS SPECIFIED BELOW:
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has determined that certain intersections should be added
to the ordinance relative to stop regulations and certain intersections should be repealed.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 501,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 501.18,is
hereby amended by adding the following intersections as 3-Way Stop Intersections as specified in
Schedule A:
The intersection ofIndigo Lane and Olson Drive.
The intersection of Crabapple Drive and Windfield Drive.
Section 2.Chapter 501,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 501.18,is
hereby amended by adding the following intersections as 4-Way Stop Intersections as specified in
Schedule A:
Olson Drive and Westgate Drive.
Waco Place and Olson Drive.
Section 3.Chapter 501,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 501.18,is
hereby amended by deleting the following intersection as a 3-Way Stop Intersection as specified in
Schedule A:
4th Street and Northview Drive.Both east and west traffic on
Northview Drive on both sides ofthe intersection and a stop for 4th Street.
Section 4.Pnrpose.The purpose of these amendments is to add certain intersections to the
stop regulations.
Section 5.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 6.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of tins ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

Section 7.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa,this 5th day of December 2005,and
approved this 5th day of December 2005.
