AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 303.158(4)AND THE TABLE ON PAGE 8,
WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,BY REPEALING THE EXISTING RATES FOR
WASTEWATER TREATMENT CAPITAL FEES AND ENACTING INCREASED FEES
DUE TO WRA COSTS AND SURCHARGES
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has determined to change the rates for water treatment
capital fees.
BE IT ORDAlNED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1:Chapter 303,Waukee Municipal Code,Section 303.l58A(4)should be
amended by repealing 303.l58A(4)and page 8 and enacting in lieu thereof:
§303.l58A(4)Wastewater Treatment Capital Fees.
The fees will increase annually based on the following schedule to account for
interest incurred by the City for the Wastewater Treatment Facility
Improvements:(page 8)

Section 2 Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions I
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
