AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 303,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,.~I
SECTION 303.150 BY ADDING TO SAID SECTION THE WORDS:"CERTIFICATE OF
COMPLETION"SO THAT THE FIRST SENTENCE OF SECTION 303.150 READS:"THE
SUBDNIDER SHALL BE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN ALL REQUIRED IMPROVEMENTS
FREE OF DEFECTS DUE TO FAULTY MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP AFTER
ACCEPTANCE BY CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS BY THE
CITY COUNCIL FOR A PERIOD SPECIFIED BELOW."
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 303.150,Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended by
adding to said section the words:"Certificate of Completion"so that Section 303.150 reads as
follows:
303 .150 Time Period."The Subdivider shall be required to
maintain all required improvements free of defects due to faulty
materials and workmanship after acceptance by Certificate of
Completion of said improvements by the City Council for a period
specified below.

Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or paris of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance me hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or pari thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.Tins ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,this 20th day of January 2004,and
approved tills zo"day of January 2004.
