AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301.27,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL
CODE,PARKING AND LOADING AREAS,SECTION 301.27(B),OFF STREET
PARKING AREA REQUIRED,BY DELETING THE WORD:"SPACE,"AND
INSERTING IN LIEU THEREOF THE WORDS:"A MINIMUM NUMBER OF
SPACES;"SO THAT THE HEADING READS:"IN ALL DISTRICTS,IN
CONNECTION WITH EVERY INDUSTRIAL,COMMERCIAL,BUSINESS,TRADE,
OR INSTITUTIONAL,RECREATIONAL,OR DWELLING USE,AND SIMILAR
USES,A MINIMUM NUMBER OF SPACES FOR PARKING AND STORAGE OF
VEHICLES SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWNG
SCHEDULE:"
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 301.27,Section 301.27(B),Waukee Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
§301.27(B)."In all districts,in connection with every
industrial,commercial,business,trade,or institutional,recreational,or
dwelling use,and similar uses,a minimum number of spaces for parking and
storage of vehicles shall be provided in accordance with the following
schedule:"
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.)
Section 3.Severability Clanse.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity
of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council this 7th day of June 2004 and approved this 7'h day of June 2004.
