AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 401,WAUKEE MUN1CIP AL CODE,
MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTY,SECTION 401.4(B)(Il),MAINTENANCE OF
PREMISES,BY DELETING SAID SUB SECTION AND TNSERTTNG TN LIEU
THEREOF,"VEHICLES PARKED ON ANY SURFACE THAT IS NOT PORTLAND
CEMENT OR ASPHALT OR ANY SUCH OTHER PERMANENT IMPERVIOUS
SURF ACE IN A PORTION OF A YARD EXPOSED TO PUBLIC VIEW."
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 400,Section 401.4(B)(Il),Waukee Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
§401.4(B)(1l)."Vehicles parked on any surface that is not
Portland cement or asphalt or any such other permanent impervious surface
in a portion of a yard exposed to public view."
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity
of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council this 7th day of June 2004 and approved this 7'h day of June 2004.
