AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
SECTION 301.31,PROVIDING FOR A SCHEDULE OF FEES,ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY ADDING THE PARAGRAPH:"COSTS INCURRED
BY THE CITY OF WAUKEE }'OR THE USE OF CITY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS EMPLOYEES SHALL BE REIMBURSED TO THE CITY OF WAUKEE AT
THE EMPLOYEE'S HOURLY RATE PLUS BENEFITS PLUS 15%.THOSE COSTS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT SHALL BE
REIMBURSED TO THE CITY AT THE SAME RATE AS LISTED IN THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULE OF EQUIPMENT RATES,
CURRENT EDITION."
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 301,Section 301.31 Waukee Municipal Code is
hereby amended by adding a paragraph for the collection of costs incurred by the City of
Waukee for the use of city Department of Public Works employees and equipment so that said
paragraph reads:
"Costs incurred by the City of Waukee for the use of City Department of Public Works
employees shall be reimbursed to the City of Waukee at the employee's hourly rate plus benefits
plus 15%.Those costs associated with the use of Public Works Equipment shall be reimbursed
to the City at the same rate as listed in the Iowa Department of Transportation Schedule of
Equipment Rates,Current Edition."
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions ofthis ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.

2004.
