AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL
CODE,SECTION 301.31,PROVIDING FOR A SCHEDULE OF FEES,
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY ADDING THE WORDS:
"A LATE PAYMENT CHARGE OF 1.5%SHALL BE ADDED TO THE PAST
DUE AMOUNT IF THE INVOICE IS NOT PAID IN FULL WITHIN THIRTY
(30)DAYS OF THE DATE OF THE INVOICE".
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 301,Section 301.31 Waukee Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding the words:"A late payment charge of 1.5%shall be
added to the past due amount ifthe invoice is not paid in full within thirty (30)days of
the date of the.invoice;"so that the following reads:
"A late payment charge of 1.5%shall be added to the past due amount ifthe
invoice is not paid in full within thirty (30)days of the date of the invoice."
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its
fmal passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council this 19th day of July 2004,and approved this 19th day of
July 2004.
