CODE,PARKING AND LOADING AREAS,SECTION 301.27(C)(2),IN CASE OF
ANY BUILDING,STRUCTURE,OR PREMISES,BY DELETING THE SAID SUB
SECTION AND INSERTING IN LIEU THEREOF,"ANY OFF-STREET PARKING
AREA,INCLUDING ANY COMMERCIAL PARKING LOT SHALL BE SURFACED
WITH AN ASPHALT OR PORTLAND CEMENT BINDER PAVEMENT OR SUCH
OTHER PERMANENT IMPERVIOUS SURF ACE AS SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL."
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 301.27,Section 301.27(C)(2),Waukee Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
§301.27(C)(2)."Any off-street parking area,including any
commercial parking lot shall be surfaced with asphalt or Portland cement
binder pavement or such other permanent impervious surface as shall be
approved by the City Council.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity
of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.

Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
