AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,SECTION 301.13C(3),
WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA,BY CHANGING MINIMUM FLOOR AREA OF ONE
BEDROOMS AND EFFICIENCY UNITS TO 600 SQUARE FEET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.

Section 301.13C(3)of Chapter 301,Waukee Municipal Code,
Zoning Ordinance ofthe City,is hereby amended by deleting the
text thereof following the words,"Minimum Floor Area"and
inserting in lieu thereof the following:"750 square feet per unit,
except for efficiency units and I bedroom apartments,which shall
be 600 square feet."
Repealer.All ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such
adjudication shall not affect the validity ofthe ordinance as a
whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged
invalid or unconstitutional.
Effective Date.Tins ordinance shall be in effect upon its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,this 18th of March 2002,and
