AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 222,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
INCORPORATION OF UNIFORM BUILDING CODE,1994 EDITION BY REFERENCE;
WITH AMENDMENTS,MODIFICATIONS,ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS,BY ADDING
TO SECTION 222.2 B THEREOF "FOR ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL LOTS,
TWO TREES (ONE INCH CALIPER OR GREATER MUST ALSO BE PLANTED."
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 222,Waukee Municipal Code,incorporating the Uniform Building
Code,1994 Edition by reference;with amendments,modifications,additions and deletions,is
hereby amended by adding at the end of Section 222.2(B)"For one and two family residential lots,
two trees (one inch caliper or greater must also be planted,"so that said subparagraph reads as
follows:
§222.2(B)In Section 109.1 delete the Exception,and add the
following new paragraphs:
"On all new construction,all necessary walks,drives and
approaches,and all seeding and sodding is to be installed before a
final Certificate of Occupancy is issued."
"For one and two family residential lots,two trees (one inch
caliper or greater must also be planted."
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
