RESOLUTION 19-389
APPROVING 2019 CITY OF WAUKEE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City of Waukee establish an Emergency Operations
Plan to outline the actions and roles necessary to provide a coordinated response within the City
in the event of natural, human -caused or technological emergencies; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Emergency Operations Plan was developed to establish a
comprehensive, all -hazards approach to incident management across a spectrum of activities
including response, recovery and mitigation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
2019 City of Waukee Emergency Operations Plan is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved th S` y of October,-
2019.
