AN ORDINANCED TO AMEND SECTION 502.1,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL
CODE,BY DELETEING SAID SECTION IN IT'S ENTIRETY AND PLACING
IN LIEU THEREOF SECTION 502.1 AS AMENDED TO PROHIBIT PARKING
OF VEHICLES ON THE EITHER SIDE OF BOONE DRIVE FROM THE
NORTH CITY LIMITS TO THE NORTH LINE OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE
EXTENDED AT ANY TIME.
Section 1.Amendment.Section 502.1,Waukee Municipal Code is hereby
amended by deleting said section in it's entirety and placing in lieu thereof
Section 502.1 as follows:
§502.l No parking is permitted at any time on either side of the following north-
south streets:
Boone Drive
First Street
Fourth Street:
see §502.4
Locust Street
Manor Drive
Second Street:
between Ashworth Drive and Corene Avenue
Seventh Street:
see §502.4
Sixth Street:
see §502.4 and §502.9
Tenth &North Tenth Street
Third Street
Warrior &North Warrior
Windfield Parkway
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or part of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall
not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or
part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its
final passage,approval,and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council this 5th day of April,1999,and approved this 5th day of
April,1999.
April 5,1999 -Prohibiting Parking on Boone Dr.Motion by Councilman Lyon,second by
Councilman Peard,to have the City Clerk read an ordinance prohibiting parking on Boone
Drive for the first time in title only.Mayor asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Lyon,Peard,
Gruber and Berger.Nays:None.Motion carried 4 to o.
April 5,1999 -Prohibiting Parking on Boone Dr.Motion by Councilman Gruber,second
by Councilman Berger,to waive the 2nd and 3rd reading of an ordinance prohibiting parking
on Boone Drive.Mayor asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Gruber,Berger,Lyon and Peard.
Nays:None.Motion carried 4 to o.
April 5,1999 -Prohibiting Parking on Boone Dr.Motion by Councilman Gruber,second
by Councilman Lyon,to have the final reading of Ordinance 2277 prohibiting parking on
Boone Drive.Mayor asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Gruber,Lyon,Peard and Berger.Nays:
None.Motion carried 4 to o.
