AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 502.4 (I)AND 502.4 (J),WAUKEE
MUNICIPAL CODE,DELETING SAID SECTIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY AND
INSERTING IN LIEU OF SECTIONS 502.4 (I)AND 502.4 (J)AS FOLLOWS TO
PROHIBIT PARKING OF VEmCLES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF NORTHVIEW
DRIVE FROM FOURTH STREET TO WARRIOR LANE BETWEEN THE
HOURS OF 6:00 O'CLOCK A.M.AND 6:00 O'CLOCK P.M.MONDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY;AND TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
NORTHVIEW DRIVE AT ANY TIME.
Section 1.Amendment.Section 502.4,Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended
by deletiug sub-sections I and J thereof,and inserting in lieu thereof sub-section I as follows:
I.No vehicles shall be parked on the north side of Northview Drive from Warrior
Lane to Fourth Street between the hours of 6:00 o'clock A.M.and 6:00 o'clock P.M.
Monday throngh Friday.
J.No vehicles shall be parked on the south side of Northview Drive from Warrior
Lane to Sixth Street at any time.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part ofthis ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity
of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council this 19th day of January,1998,and approve this 19th day of
January,1998.
