AN ORDINANCE ALLOWING FOR THE WAIVING OF BUILDING PERMIT,GAS
METER HOOK-UP,WATER HOOK-UP,SEWER HOOK-UP,AND CAPITAL FEES FOR NON-
PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS OR FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.

Amendment.Section 222.2(C)Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding the following subsection:
Section 222.2C(I)Building permit fees may be waived for non-profit
organizations or other charitable purposes when deemed acceptable by the
city council.
Amendment.Section 202 Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended by
adding the following subsection:
Section 202.9 Installation or hook-up fees for gas meters may be waived for
non-profit organizations or other charitable purposes when deemed acceptable
by the city council.
Amendment.Section 21 1.8 Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended by
adding the following subsection:{
Section 211.8(A)Installation or hook-up fees for water may be waived for
non-profit organizations or other charitable purposes when deemed acceptable by the
city council.

Amendment.Section 204.15 Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding the following subsection:
Section 204.15(A)Installation or hook-up fees for connection with the public
sewer system may be waived for non-profit organizations or other charitable
purposes when deemed acceptable by the city council.
Amendment.Section 303 .15 8 Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding the following subsection:
Section 303.158(H)Capital fees may be waived for non-profit organizations
or other charitable purposes when deemed acceptable by the city council.
Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 7.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part
thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 8.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council this 15th day of J e,1998,and approved this 15th day of
June,1998.
