AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 502.10,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
BY ADDING SECTION 502.1O(R)TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON PORTIONS OF THE
STREET RIGlIT-OF-WAY OUTSIDE THE TRAVELED PORTION OF THE STREET,
EXCEPT AS MAY BE SPECIFICALLY PERMITTED AND INDICATED BY APPROPRIATE
SIGNS PURSUANT TO DULY ENACTED AND PUBLISHED ORDINANCES.
Section 1.Purpose.The purpose of this ordinance is to amend section 502.10
prohibit parking 2 by adding section 502.10 (R)as follows:
§502.10 (R).Prohibited Parking on portions of Street Right-of-Way Outside the
Traveled Portions of the Street.No parking is permitted on portions ofthe street right-
of-way ontside the traveled portion of the street,except as may be specifically permitted and
indicated by appropriate signs pursuantto dnly enacted and published ordinances.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity ofthe
ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.TIns ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
