AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 210,REGULATING AND LICENSING
OF PEDDLERS,SOLICITORS AND TRANSIENT MERCHANTS IN THE CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA,BY AMENDING SECTION 210.3,TO PERMIT SALE OF CRAFTS
DURING FARMERS MARKET SEASON;AND TO FIX A REGULATORY FEE FOR
FARMERS AND GARDENERS MARKET AND PURVEYORS OF CRAFTS AT $10.00.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 210.3 of Chapter 210,Regulating and
licensing of peddlers,solicitors and transient merchants and to
provide penalties for violations,Waukee Municipal Code,is hereby
amended by substituting for the words,"are excluded from the
provisions of this ordinance,"after the word,"grown",the
following:
and purveyors of crafts,are excluded from the
provisions of this ordinance,except that a fee
of $10.00 will be charged each such farmer,
gardiner,or purveyor of crafts for reservation
of a parking area during the harvest season for
farm and garden produce,or at other times
designated by the City Council.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision
or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitu-
tional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect
upon its final passage,approval and publication as provided by
law.
