AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,PARKING
REGULATIONS OF MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,BY AMENDING SECTION 502.4,TO RESTRICT PARKING OF VEHICLES,
OTHER THAN FOR SCHOOL BUSSES,ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LOCUST STREET,
EXCEPT ON DESIGNATED LOCATIONS AND AT CERTAIN TIMES DURING CERTAIN
HOURS OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 502,Waukee Municipal Code,
Parking Regulations of Motor Vehicles Within the Corporate Limits of
the City of Waukee,Iowa,Section 502.4(H),is hereby amended so that
the section will read as follows:
H.Except for School busses,no parking shall be allowed on the
south side of Locust Street,except:
(1)Angle parking is permitted a distance of 134 feet West
of Sixth Street on the south side of Locust Street.
(2)Head-d n parking is permitted on the south side of
Locust street between Fourth Street and Fifth Street,
except during the hours 7:30 A.M.to 3:30 P.M.,Monday
through Friday during the School Year.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability.If any section,provision or part of
this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such
adjUdication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole
or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect
upon its final passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
