AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER lOB OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,SlOB .12,POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE
PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR,BY AMENDING SUBPARAGRAPH G THEREOF TO
INCREASE AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE TO AMOUNTS NOT EXCEEDING $1000.00.
Section 1.Section 10B.12G of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Waukee,Iowa,is hereby amended by inserting in lieu of
"$500.00"therein,the figure "$1,000.00",so that subsection G
reads as follows:
G.The public works supervisor shall have the
authority to purchase items he deems necessary
for his department not to exceed $1,000.00 per
purchase for the administration of his office,
without prior council approval.
Section 2.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect
after its final passage,approval,and publication as required by
law.
