AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,WAUKEE,MUNICIPAL CODE.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE RULES GOVERNING THE AMENDMENTS OF THE
CITY ZONING IN THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,TO PROVIDE FOR FIXING OF
FEES AND COSTS BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 301.28 of Chapter 301 Waukee Municipal
Code,is hereby amended by deleting the following paragraph:
"Before any action shall be taken as provided in this
part,the party or parties proposing or recommending a
change in the district regulations or district boundaries
shall deposit with the City Clerk the sum of ten (10)
dollars to cover the approximate costs of this procedure
and under no conditions shall said sum or any part
thereof,be refunded for failure of said amendment to be
enacted into law."
and inserting in lieu thereof as follows:
The City Council shall,by resolution,establish a
schedule of fees,charges,and expenses and a collection
procedure for amendment to this zoning ordinance.The
schedule of fees shall be posted in the office of the
administrative official,and may be altered or amended
only by resolution by the City Council.
Section 2.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect
after its final passage,approval,and publication as required by
law.
