AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 301.9(A)OF CHAPTER 301,WAUKEE,
MUNICIPAL CODE.AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 301.9(A)PROVIDING
FOR AN ADDITIONAL USE IN THE "A-l"AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT OF A
MINIATURE GOLF COURSE AND DRIVING RANGE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 301.9(A)of Chapter 301,Waukee Municipal
Code,is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:
(11)"Miniature golf course and driving range placed in the
same tract of ground as a full size golf course having
at least 9 holes,and a total par of not less than 27.
Neither the driving range nor the miniature golf course
may be placed within 500 feet of an R-l or R-2 district
or within 100 feet of the property boundary line."
Section 2.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect
after its final passage,approval,and publication as required by
law.
