RESOLUTION 19-451
APPROVING AND ADOPTING CAPITAL CROSSROADS MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING, GREATER DES MOINES FAIR PLAY AGREEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on June 20, 2016, the Waukee City Council approved and adopted the Des Moines Metro
Economic Development Fair Play Agreement (Resolution #16-249); AND,
WHEREAS, a revised Greater Des Moines Fair Play Agreement is proposed to maintain a vibrant
business environment and maximize benefit to residents and taxpayers, AND,
WHEREAS, Waukee City staff recommend approval of the revised agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council in session this 16"' day of
December, 2019, that the Capital Crossroads Memorandum of Understanding, Greater Des Moines
Fair Play Agreement in hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council that the City Administrator shall be the
City's designated point of contact in matters related to the Agreement.
