HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-06-27-Ordinance 2115_R-6 Zoning District, Home PlacementORDINANCE NO.2115 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,WAUKEE,MUNICIPAL CODE,Zoning Ordinance of the City of Waukee,Iowa,by regulating the placement of mobile homes,requiring six (6)feet separation from buildings and structures on adjoining lots in "R-6"District. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1.Section 301.15 of Chapter 301 Waukee Municipal Code,Zoning Ordinance of the City,is hereby amended by deleting therefrom subsection E (4),and in- serting in lieu thereof the following: E.(4 )The individual mobile home lot shall contain not less than four thousand two hundred seventy-five (4,275)square feet and shall measure at least forty- five (45)by ninety-five (95)feet. Each lot shall have a front yard not less than twenty (20)feet in depth measured from the edge of the surfaced private street to the closest point of the mobile home.Side and rear yards shall be provided and maintained so as to provide a minimum separation at'the nearest point between mobile homes,and other mobile homes on adjoining lots of at least ten (10)feet;and between mobile homes,and other buildings and structures on adjoining lots,of at least six (6)feet;however,side yards as so described shall not be less than five (5)feet,and rear yards as so described shall not be less than eight (8)feet,for any structure.No build- ings or structures shall be placed wi thin twenty (20)feet of the front lot line. Section 2.Effective date.This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage,approval,and publica- tion as required by law.
