AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 108,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL
CODE,POWERS AND DUTIES OF MUNICIPAL OFFICERS,BY AMENDING
§108.5G TO AUTHORIZE COUNCIL MEMBERS TO CALL SPECIAL MEET-
INGS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 108.5G of Chapter 108 Waukee
Municipal Code,Powers and Du ties of Munic ipal Off icers,
is hereby amended by adding thereto "or as and at a time
requested by any three (3)council members.If the Mayor
fails to call the special meeting on such request,any
three (3)council members may call a special meeting"so
it reads as follows:
§108.5G The Mayor shall call special meetings of the
city council when the Mayor deems such meet-
ings necessary to the interests of the city,
or as and a tat ime reques ted by any three
(3)council members.If the Mayor fails to
call the special meeting on such request,
any three (3)council members may call a
special meeting.
Section 2.Effective Date.This ordinance shall
be in effect after its final passage,approval,and publi-
cation as required by law.
