AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTE~210,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL
CODE,REGULATING AND LICENSING PEDDLERS,SOLICITORS AND
TRANSIENT MERCHANTS AND TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLA-
TIONS,BY EXEMPTING FARMERS AND GARDENERS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 210.3 of Chapter 210 Waukee Muni-
cipal Code,is hereby amended by adding to the exemptions
from the provisions of such ordinance,the words "Farmers
and gardeners who offer for sale in the area marked for
parking immediately adjacent to the triangle bounded by
6th Street,Ashworth Drive,and Walnut Street,fruits and
vegetables which they have grown,are excluded from the
provisions of this ordinance."and shall read as follows:
§210.3 Exemptions.Newspaper carriers are ex-
cluded from the provisions of this ordinance.
Farmers and gardeners who offer for sale in
the area marked for parking immediately
adjacent to the triangle bounded by 6th
Street,Ashworth Drive,and Walnut Street,
fruits and vegetables which they have grown,
are excluded from the provisions of this
ordinance.
