Home My WebLink About1986-11-11-Ordinance 2076_Zoning Regulations, Maximum Height LimitORDINANCE NO.2076 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,WAUKEE,MUNICIPAL CODE,ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY AMENDING MAXIMUM HEIGHT LIMITATIONS IN THE FOLLOWING ZONING DISTRICTS IN THE CITY OF WAUKEE:"A-I"AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT;"R-l"SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT;"R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT;"R-3"MULTI- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT;"R-6"MOBILE HOME RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT;"C-l"COMMUNITY COMMERICAL DISTRICT;"C-2" CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AND "M-l"LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT BY PERMITTING AS AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE,COMMUNI- CATION TOWERS CONSTRUCTED IN CONFORMITY WITH CHAPTER 221 OF THE WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,TO CERTAIN MAXIMUM HEIGHTS. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1.Section 301.9 C (7)is amended by adding thereto,"except that radio communication towers construc- ted in compliance with §221.1 of the Waukee Municipal Code may not exceed 45 feet in height."so as to read: §301.9 C (7)Maximum Height:Principal Building - 40 ft.Accessory Building 14 ft., except that radio communication towers constructed in compliance with §221.1 of the Waukee Municipal Code may not exceed 45 feet in height. Section 2.Section 301.10 C (7)is amended by adding thereto,"except that radio communication towers construc- ted in compliance with §221.1 of the Waukee Municipal Code may not exceed 70 feet in height."so as to read: §301.10 C (7)[~aximum Height:Principal Building - 40 ft.Accessory Building 14 ft., except that radio communication towers constructed in compliance with §221.1 of the Waukee Municipal Code may not exceed 45 feet in height. Section 5.Section 30l.15 C (1)is amended by adding thereto,"except that radio communication towers construc- ted in compliance with §221.1 of the Waukee Municipal Code may not exceed 45 feet in height."so as to read: §30l.15 C (1)Maximum Height:No mobile home or accessory building shall exceed twenty (20)feet in height,except that radio communication towers constructed in compliance with §22l.1 of the Waukee Municipal Code may not exceed 45 feet in he ight. Section 6.Section 301.16 C (6)is amended by adding thereto,"except that radio communication towers construc- ted in compliance with §221.1 of the Waukee Municipal Code may not exceed 45 feet in height."so as to read: §30l.16 C (6)Maximum Height -40 ft.except that radio communication towers constructed in compliance with §22l.1 of the Waukee Mun icipal Code may not exceed 45 feet in height.
