AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 211.10 OF THE WAUKEE
MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR INSTALLATION
AND MATERIAL FOR SERVICE PIPING IN THE CITY OF WAUKEE,
IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.There shall be added to the Waukee Muni-
cipal Code,Section 211.10,the following sub-paragraphs:
A.Service connections shall be 3/4 inch
type K copper (ASTM B88)or schedule 40
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)(ASTM D1784 &
01785).Where good engineering design
requires,larger service lines may be
required.
B.Service lines shall
least 5.5 feet below
level.

Section 2.Effective date.This ordinance shall be
in effect after its final passage,approval,and publica-
tion as required by law.
