AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 212,WAUKEE,MUNICIPAL
CODE,Restriction of open burning wi thin the City Limits
of the City of Waukee,Iowa by amending the ordinance to
restrict open burning on residential property.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 212.2 of Chapter 212 Waukee
Municipal Code,providing for the restriction of opening
burning wi thin the City Limits of the Ci ty of Waukee is
hereby amended by inserting in the second line after the
word "material"the words "on residential property"so
that the ordinance is amended to read as follows:
§212.2 Open Burning.No person shall
allow,cause,or permit open burning of
any material on residential property
within the limits of the City of Waukee,
Iowa,except for plant and vegetable
matter orginating on the premises owned
or leased by such person,except for
burning of paper residential waste or
dwellings of 4-family units or less,and
except for recreational fires as defined
herein.
