AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 303,WAUKEE,MUNICIPAL
CODE,Land Subdivision Regulations of the City of Waukee,
Iowa,by providing for the adoption by reference of
certain standard construction specifications for
construction in the City of Waukee,Iowa,relating to the
construction of public improvements in public rights of
way and utilities connected thereto,and establishing a
procedure for the amendment of said specifications.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 303,

ARTICLE XV,as
Adoption Of Standard Construction Specifications
§303.190.The City of Waukee,Iowa,hereby
adopts in full the standard construction speci-
fications for the City of Waukee,Iowa,as pro-
posed and recommended by the City Eng ineer on
the 4th day of October,1983.These specifica-
t ions shall apply to,govern and regulate the
construction of all public improvements in pub-
lic rights of way within the City,and utilities
connected thereto.A copy of the specifications
shall remain on file at the Office of the City
Clerk and shall be available for inspection and
copying.All contractors and suppliers shall be
charged with knowledge of its contents.
§303.191.The City Engineer may,from time to
time,propose additions or changes to the spec i-
f ications in the form of amendments.All such
amendments shall be presented to the Council for
examination and approval.The Council may ap-
prove and adopt such amendments by resolution.
Following adoption by resolution,the amendment
shall be placed in the publication on file with
the Ci ty Clerk,and shall have the full force
and effect of law as of the date the amendments
are filed.
