RESOLUTION 19-413
APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITIES OF
CLIVE, URBANDALE AND WAUKEE [NORTHWEST DEVELOPMENT AREA
TRAFFIC ENGINEERING STUDY]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, the Cities of Clive, Urbandale and Waukee wish to undertake a traffic engineering
study of the area known by the City of Clive as the Northwest Development Area; AND,
WHEREAS, the study shall collect data, review community development plans and make
roadway cross-section recommendations for segments of Warrior Lane, Alice's Road and
Meredith Drive; AND,
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding is proposed between the three municipalities
related to the services of HR Green as consultant for the study; AND,
WHEREAS, the Cities of Clive and Urbandale shall pay HR Green for their services while the
City of Waukee shall make no payment but agrees to grant license to HR Green to use Waukee
traffic study data; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the memorandum of understanding and finds it
satisfactory.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
4`h day of November, 2019, that it hereby approves a Memorandum of Understanding between
the Cities of Clive, Urbandale and Waukee [Northwest Develo rea ffic Engineering
Study].
