JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Facility Site Supervisor Reports to: Recreation Supervisor
Dept/Div: Parks & Recreation Direct Reports: None
Pay Grade: Per Rental FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
JOB PURPOSE: The Facility Site Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while
ensuring the cleanliness and security of rental facilities and surrounding property
throughout the City.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for meeting with renters at the rented facility to unlock doors, familiarize the renters with the
facility, and to explain the responsibilities the renters have while using the facility.
2. Communicate with supervisor or designee regarding scheduled facility events.
3. Provide renters with checklist they must complete before leaving the facility.
4. Maintain constant availability during rental periods by providing renters with city cell phone number in case
of questions or emergencies.
5. Return to facility after rental period has ended to inspect, note discrepancies and ensure all doors are
locked properly.
6. Assist renters with set-up and proper storage of audio/video equipment if provided at the rented facility.
7. Responsible for light clearing and salting of the pathways to facilities, and notifying supervisor if more
extensive clearing is needed.
8. Maintain inventory of cleaning solutions and equipment, and notify direct supervisor if additional products
are needed.
9. Clean and prepare facilities for upcoming rentals in the event a previous renter did not complete the duties
listed on the checklist.
10. Perform other duties or assume other responsibilities as apparent or assigned.

procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Must possess valid driver’s license, and meet the requirements of the City’s motor vehicle policy.
3. Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the City limits due to the need to respond to emergency calls from
facility renters in a timely manner.
3. Must possess good organizational and time management skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 15 pounds, occasionally.
2. Able to lift, carry, push and pull cleaning equipment.
3. Able to push, pull, dismantle and store tables and chairs.
4. Must be able to effectively communicate orally (in person and over the telephone) and in writing (using
electronic devices and handwritten) in English with other employees, businesses and community
members.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Position requires travel within the City, which imposes common travel hazards.
