(6)Pledge of Allegiance (C)Roll Call —The following members were present:Mayor William F.Peard;Council Members Courtney Clarke,Shelly Hughes,Larry R.Lyon.Absent:Council Members Anna Bergman,R. Charles Bottenberg.(Council Member Bergman arrived at 5:33 p.m.) Also in attendance:City Administrator Tim Moerman,Finance Director Linda Burkhart,Human Resource Director Michelle Lindsay,Public Works Director/City Engineer Rudy Koester, Development Services Director Brad Deets,Community and Economic Development Director Dan Dutcher,Parks and Recreation Director Matt Jermier,Recreation Supervisor Josh VandeKamp,Marketing and Communications Director Summer Evans,IT Director Son Le, Police Chief John Quinn,City Clerk Rebecca D.Schuett,City Attorney Steve Brick. (D)Open Forum —John Tierney,732 SE Waterview Cir.,had numerous questions regarding a $6.00 stormwater fee on his utility bill:what is the fee,who oversees the funds,what is the current balance,and for what is the money used.City Administrator Moerman asked Mr. Tierney to contact him so they could go over his questions.(Council Member Bergman arrived at 5:33 p.m.) (E)Agenda Approval —Council Member Lyon moved to approve the agenda;seconded by Council Member Hughes.Results of vote:Ayes:Bergman,Clarke,Hughes,Lyon.Nays:None.Absent: Bottenberg.Motion carried 4 —0 —1. (F)Mayor's Report —Mayor Peard will attend several legislative "meet and greet"events in the coming weeks.The City is accepting nominations for 2018 Waukee Citizen of the Year.A video review of Waukee's 2018 accomplishments is available on the City's YouTube page.
