RESOLUTION 08-218
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR COMPLIANCE
WITH THE 2008 SIDEWALK INSTALLATION,REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
PROGRAM
WHEREAS,those property owners within the 2008 sidewalk installation,repair and
maintenance program have previously been informed by mail and City Staff
communication of their need to Install,Repair and Maintain the sidewalks located
adj acent to their properties;AND
WHEREAS,the deadline for compliance was previously established by Resolution of
the Council as September is",2008;AND
WHEREAS,in large part,City Staff is observing significant effort by Property Owners
to comply but this summers weather,and other constraints outside of the control of some
property owners involved,have impeded the completion of some of the work on a
voluntary basis.Staff recommends that the deadline for compliance with the work
required as part of the program be extended to October 20,2008.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee on this,
the 22nd day of September,2008,that the deadline for compliance with the 2008
sidewalk installation,repair and maintenance program be extended to October 20,2008.
