RESOLUTION 08-227
APPROVING THE PLAT OF SURVEY AND ACQUISTION PLATS (3)RELATED TO
THE SCHOOL PROPERTY PURCHASE (FORMER CLAYTON PROPERTy)AND
RIGHT OF WAY FOR 6TH STREET,UNIVERSITY AVENUE (300TH STREET)AND
NORTHVIEW DRIVE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has agreed to a purchase agreement and development
agreement with the Waukee School District related to 17.5 acres of property owned by the City
of Waukee (former Clayton Property);AND,
WHEREAS,a Plat of Survey has been created for the property that is to be purchased by the
Waukee School District as well as associated Acquisition Plats (3)related to adjacent Right of
Way.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa
that the Plat of Survey and Acquisition Plats (3)be approved.
Passed by the City COlillcil of the City of Waukee,Iowa and approved the 6th day of October
2008.
