RESOLUTION 08-236
APPROVING A STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND
CONTRACTOR FOR A RESIDENTIAL OR SMALL COMMERCIAL PROJECT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE AND HANSEN COMPANY FOR THE WAUKEE
PUBLIC LIBRARY MANDERS PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on July 21,2008,the Waukee City Council approved a Gift Agreement between
the Stine Foundation,Harold Manders,Waukee Library Board of Trustees and City of Waukee
related to a gift of sports memorabilia and historical material from Mr.Manders (Resolution #08-
165);AND,
WHEREAS,on August 18,2008,the Waukee City Council approved an Agreement Between
Owner and Architect with FEH Associates,Inc.,for the Waukee Public Library Manders Project
(Resolution #08-197);AND,
WHEREAS,City staff and FEH Associates,Inc.,recommend retaining the services of Hansen
Company as contractor for the Waukee Public Library Manders Project;AND,
WHEREAS,an agreement with FEH Associates,Inc.,has been reviewed and approved by the
Waukee City Attorney subject to receipt of funds sufficient to satisfy the obligations accruing
thereunder;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor for a Residential or Small
Commercial Project between the City of Waukee and Hansen Company for the Waukee Public
Library Manders Project is hereby approved subject to receipt of funds sufficient to satisfy the
obligations accruing thereunder.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 20th day of October
2008.
