RESOLUTION 08-267
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES BY AND
BETWEEN CIVIL SNYDER &ASSOCIATES AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE
RELATED TO THE RACCOON RIVER VALLEY TRAIL EXTENSION PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the services of Snyder &Associates to perform the
engineering and design services for the Raccoon River Valley Trail Extension Project (the
"Project");AND,
WHEREAS,the scope of the Project includes the topographic survey verification,construction
drawings and construction administration for the proposed construction of the Project;AND,
WHEREAS,the fee for the planning,design and construction services for the Project shall be a
maximum not to exceed amount of$75,144.00;
WHEREAS,the Agreement for Engineering Services is subj ect to review and final approval by
the Waukee City Attorney;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Engineering Services by and between Snyder &Associates and the City of
Waukee related to the Raccoon River Valley Trail Extension Project is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the Ist day of December
2008.
