RESOLUTION 08-276
APPROVING THE GREEN INITIATIVES COMMITTEE -CREATING A
SUSTAINABLE WAUKEE 2009 ACTION PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,a connnittee was established to research and provide recommendations on green
initiatives within the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,over the past several months,the committee has been working on developing a
work plan for defining and implementing green initiatives within 2009;AND,
WHEREAS,the committee has approved the Creating a Sustainable Waukee 2009 Action
Plan;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
on this is"day of December 2008 that the Green Initiatives Committee -Creating a
Sustainable Waukee 2009 Action Plan is hereby approved.
