RESOLUTION 08-272
APPROVING A DIGITAL DATA AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
WAillffiE AND IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT)is creating a GIS Project Portal
for environmental planning activities that will initially occur along Interstates 80,380,680
and 35;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has developed a GIS database depicting land,cadastral and
other geospatial data for areas within and contiguous with the city;AND,
WHEREAS,an agreement is proposed wherein IDOT will incorporate GIS data developed
by IDOT and by the City of Waukee into a Data Repository accessible via the Portal,with the
City of Waukee allowed access to certain specific products within the Portal;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
on this is"day of December 2008 that the Digital Data Agreement between the City of
Waukee and Iowa Department of Transportation is hereby approved.
