RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORIe
WHEREAS,on November 5,2007,Waukee,Iowa,entered into contract with
Ellingson Companies of West Concord,Minnesota,for the construction of the Waukee,
Iowa,Southfork and Walnut Ridge Sanitary Sewer Project,within the City,as therein
described;and
WHEREAS,the contractor has fully completed the construction of the
improvements,known as the Waukee,Iowa,Southfork and Walnut Ridge Sanitary Sewer
Project,in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications,as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on
December 23,2008:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted and the improvements are hereby accepted as having been fully completed in
accordance with the plans,specifications and contract.The total contract cost of the
improvements payable under said contract is hereby determined to be $1,708,825.71.
Section 2.The total project cost including construction,engineering,legal and
administrative costs is determined to be $1,708,825.71.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 5th day of January,2009.
