RESOLUTION 09-42
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2010 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State of Iowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State ofIowa has set March 15 as the date cities must submit a certified
budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY201 0 budget,and to
maintain the $13.50 tax rate for the Waukee citizens,for the tenth year in a row AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held March 9,2009 during the regularly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY20 10
budget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the proposed FY2010 budget and after
receiving citizen input on the FY2010 budget,finds the FY2010 budget fiscally
responsible and responsive to the needs of the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 9th day of March 2009 that it hereby approves the proposed 2010 Budget.
