RESOLUTION 09-104
APPROVING AN IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT FOR
FUNDING THROUGH IOWA'S LIVING ROADWAYS PROJECT PROGRAM,
AGREEMENT NUMBER 25-01-08 (WAUKEE,DALLAS CO.);PROJECT NUMBER
STP-ES-TREE (11)-81-00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORJTY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City submitted a project application for a Iowa Living Roadways/Trees Forever
grant related to a segment of the Raccoon River Valley Trail,Warrior Lane to Windfield Parle;
AND,
WHEREAS,the project application has been approved in the amount of $13,168.00 and has
been granted archaeological clearance;AND,
WHEREAS,an agreement between the City and Trees Forever as approved by the Iowa
Department of Transportation must be approved and executed in order to receive the awarded
funding;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney and City staff have reviewed the agreement and recommend
approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 4th day of May 2009 that the Iowa Department of Transportation Agreement for Funding
through Iowa's Living Roadways Project Program,Agreement Number 25-01-08 (Waukee,
Dallas Co.);Project Number STP-ES-TREE (11)-81-00,is hereby approved.
