RESOLUTION 08-16
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE
PARK BOARD FOR A TERM TO END DECEMBER 31,2008
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,an opening on the Park Board was created with the resignation of Luke Riemers;
AND,
WHEREAS,the mayor shall appoint or reappoint citizen members to the City's various boards,
commissions and committees;AND,
WHEREAS,at the recommendation of the Park Board,Mayor William Peard appoints Matt
Tate to the Park Board in order to fill the unexpired term of Luke Riemers;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 21 st day of January,2008,that it hereby approves the appointment of Matt Tate to the Park
Board for a term to end December 31,2008.
