RESOLUTION 08-17
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE
UTILITIES COMMITTEE FOR A TERM TO END DECEMBER 31,2010
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the mayor shall appoint or reappoint citizen members to the City's various boards,
commissions and committees;AND,
WHEREAS,on January 7,2008,the City Council approved the mayor's appointment of Matt
Tate to the Utilities Committee for a term to end December 31,20 I 0 (Resolution #08-07);AND,
WHEREAS,on January 21,2008,the City Council approved the mayor's appointment of Matt
Tate to the Park Board for a term to end December 31,2008 (Resolution #08-16);AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William Peard appoints Waync Johnson to the Utilities Committee to take
the place of Matt Tate;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 21"day of January,2008,that it hereby approves the appointment of Wayne Johnson to the
Utilities Committee for a term to end December 31,2008.
