RESOLUTION 08-20 I
APPROVING THE AlA STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF WAUKEE AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES,INC.,FOR
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FOR THE WAUKEE PUBLIC WORKS
FACILITY PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on December 20,2004,the Waukee City Council approved a preliminary design
proposal for the Waukee Public Works Facility Project (Resolution #04-265);AND,
WHEREAS,City staff have recently interviewed three potential construction management
firms for the Waukee Public Works Facility Project and recommend contracting with
Construction Services,Inc.,of West Des Moines;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff has reviewed the AlA Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner
and Construction Manager for said project and recommend approval;INOWTHEREFOREBEITRESOLVEDbytheCityCounciloftheCityofWaukee,Iowa
on this 21 et day of J anuary 2008 that the AlA Standard Form of Agreement between the City
of Waukee and Construction Services,Inc.,for construction management for the Waukee
Public Works Facility Project is approved contingent upon final approval by t e City
Attorney.
